The Christian Outlook is a non-denominational Christian newspaper published on the Internet to promote a Christian perspective to life and living amongst Christians, and between Christians and non-Christians all over the world. It also aims to promote unity of purpose amongst the different Christian denominations and foster a caring and more tolerant attitude amongst Christians. The newspaper's mission is founded on John 17:21 – "that they all may be one, as you, Father, are In Me, and I in you".
Features of the website include public submission of news, articles, stories, testimonies, poems, profiles, etc. There is a viewable members' list, Christian links and a download area for free Perl/CGI scripts.
The forums on the site cover (a) Bible Study - to record and discuss the Bible's position on life and living with reference to the Scriptures; (b) General Discussions – to discuss issues in our society which affect our lives as Christians; and (c) Prayer Chains – to request and post prayers.
